Lash Extensions
Lash Extensions Facts.
Lash Extensions can enhance your natural beauty and give your eyes that wow factor you’ve been looking for! Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions are individually attached to your natural lashes and customized to accentuate your facial features and your desired lash style.
How long do Lash Extensions last?
Lash Extensions can last up to 8 weeks with the adhesive that we use. However, the set of lashes will not be full still, due to the extensions shedding with your natural eyelash growth cycle. Fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes always looking full. If you wait too long between fills, you can lose too many lashes and will then need a Full Set. Exposure to steam, humidity and touching or rubbing your lashes, sleeping on your side, wearing mascara or gel eyeliner, not using oil-free cleansers or makeup remover or frequent swimming can all cause extensions to fall out sooner by loosening the adhesive.
How long will it take to apply the Lash Extensions and how is it done?
Lash Extensions are applied while you are laying down with your eyes closed. After we cleanse and prime your lashes, your bottom lashes are covered with an eye pad to protect them during the service and then the lashes are individually attached to your natural lashes using a safe, fast drying adhesive. This can take 1.5 to 2 hours for a Full Set and 45 to 90 minutes for a Fill, depending on the number of natural lashes you have and how long you wait between fills. We aim to lash as many natural lashes as possible that are long enough to support the weight of an extension. Most guests take a “Lash Nap” or listen to a podcast during the service, so feel free to bring your device and ear buds.
Lash Preparation
For best results and as full as possible lashes, please arrive to your appointment with your lashes free of eye makeup. If you can’t remove your eye makeup before your appointment, we can remove it, but it will take time away from actually applying lashes during your scheduled time.
Limit your caffeine intake prior to your appointment. Caffeine can cause your eyelashes to flutter making application more difficult resulting in fewer lashes applied.

Bridal Lashes
Weddings are a very special occasion, so it’s crucial that your lashes look amazing! Extensions are the perfect way to make lashes look great from a distance as well as in close-up photographs. We take special care to do bridal lashes meticulously. This means that we recommend the following timeline if you are thinking of getting lash extensions for yourself for your special day:
-
Trial Set
Eyelash extensions can take some getting used to. Although we use the best lashes and are experts at applying and customizing, it’s important that you give them a “test run” if you’ve never gotten lash extensions before. Therefore, we recommend that you get your first set of lashes applied about 5 weeks in advance of the wedding date. This will give you a chance to adjust to the feeling of wearing lash extensions, as well as some time to experiment with makeup options. Also, on the off chance that you are allergic to any of the products we use, it’s better to find out in advance.
-
Touch-Up
3 weeks after your initial extension appointment, we’ll book you to come back in and get a fill. This is the time you can tell us if you want more lashes, less lashes, longer lashes, curlier lashes, etc. We will then fill you accordingly.
-
Final Touches
Finally, we’ll book you to come in about 3 or 4 days before the wedding for a final touchup to make sure your lashes are full and exactly how you want them to look on your wedding day.
If your wedding is almost here and you haven’t allowed enough time to come 5 weeks in advance, don’t worry—we’ll still see you for your bridal lashes for up until 3 days before your ceremony. However, we do strongly advise the timeline above.
