Microblading Brows

Microblading Eyebrows

Microblading is form of tattoo artistry that is more superficial than traditional tattoos and much more detailed than permanent makeup. When you have tried every stencil, makeup, pigment and gel on the market and your brows are still sparse, microblading is your solution! The technique of microblading is performed by hand and is semi-permanent. The pigment is deposited into the top layer of the skin using fine, hair-like strokes, which produces natural, authentic looking eyebrows. No other option lasts as long, nor looks so good.

Frequently asked questions and answers.

Does it hurt?

No. We apply a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure, so you can relax every step of the way.

How long does it take?

Your initial session is booked for 2 hours, allowing time for questions, thorough designing of your new brow shape, numbing and Microblading.

Is there swelling or redness after the treatment?

Yes. Everyone reacts differently, but most people only have mild redness that typically subsides a short time after the treatment. The skin may crust or flake during the healing process but should heal within 1-2 weeks. Skin can be touched up at 8-10 weeks.

What kind of aftercare is needed?

Aftercare is an important step of the process. Each client will receive aftercare instructions with an individual packet of Tina Davie’s Aftercare Wound Gel to take home. This soothing gel decreases inflammation, kills bacteria and speeds up the healing process.

What if I take blood thinners?

Before discontinuing any prescription blood thinners, consult your doctor. Vitamins and food supplements, such as omega fatty acids, Vitamin E and Tumeric, should be stopped 2 weeks prior to Microblading. Our team will review your medications prior to your procedure and advise you on the best plan.

What if I smoke?

Smoking slows the healing process. To maximize cosmetic results, smokers should discontinue at least 2 weeks prior to Microblading and 2 weeks afterwards.
